LIMITED RUN NOW IN STOCK!

Luna Replicas brings you a limited edition Type 2 - Blue Winter Flight Jacket.  These jackets are extremely comfortable and warmer than the standard flight jacket, designed and built from the ground up using historic examples to recreate the original.

This is a Type 2 winter jacket variant, similar to the Signal Flare Red Survival Jacket (Also available HERE), using a sky blue nylon shell material, similar in color and issued alongside the standard blue NASA flight jackets of the 1960s, adding a comfortably warm white faux fur lining.  These include single-piece woven cuffs, zippered sleeve pen pocket, khaki colored main zipper, & black pocket snaps.

Each jacket comes with a vintage-style "Type 2" NASA logo patch sewn on the left chest, as seen on rare examples of this original style jacket. These patches are embroidered on original machinery with vintage materials, matching the originals in every way (a $25 value alone).  Also sewn to the jacket is a piece of Velcro Brand loop tape for your leather name badge & wings on the right chest, as worn originally by NASA astronauts in the 1960s and early 70s (and we now make custom vintage-style leather wings AVAILABLE HERE).

Please check your size on the size charts below, and ask questions (info@lunareplicas.com) before finalizing your order.  Size exchanges may not be possible due to limited runs of each size.

Size returns will incur a 20% restocking fee for limited run jacket projects.

U.S. Men's Chest Sizes 38 through 50 will be available. (SEE SIZE CHART)

Price: $325 each, plus shipping.

Made in the U.S.A. of U.S. & Imported Materials

Rare Style

Another very nice replica Apollo astronaut jacket from the leaders in the field. It's not one I ever expected to see, because period photographic evidence of its existence is uncommon. You have to be a bit geeky to know about them. I do have one small criticism. The standard of finish in some of the stitching (including on the attached NASA patch), is noticeably below their usual. I have examples (including some duplicates) of all their styles, and am familiar with some of the real jackets. This one is very welcome, but my copy just isn't quite as good as the others.

Good one!

I waited from the announcement to the release. I'm looking forward to wearing it in the winter.
