INTRODUCING: Officially Licensed by Ford Motor Company and Carroll Shelby Licensing, an exact replica of the Navy version of the iconic Carroll Shelby quilted team jacket! These were worn by the Shelby American team, and representatives of Ford Of France, at Le Mans and historic races through the 1965 racing season.
This isn't anything you've seen before: BOWLER'S SHIRT & UNIFORM by Luna Replicas (TM) is the continuation of the original uniform contractor for Shelby American and Ford throughout the 1960s and 70s. After years of research & development, having assisted the production of all team & racing uniforms "FORD V. FERRARI" in 2019, we are now licensed by Carroll Shelby Licensing and Ford Motor Company to bring these exactingly reproduced team uniforms to the public.
Each jacket is sewn with navy blue, silky smooth quilted nylon outer material, double knit cuffs, with navy blue mesh, nylon lining, and hidden hood. Twin off-white stripes run from the collar down each sleeve. These jackets are stunning, with a classic fit and using vintage sewing techniques to be intricately beautiful in person. These jackets keep you warm on cool days outside, yet breathable while seated and driving.
Each heritage line jacket comes with a vintage-style, officially-licensed Carroll Shelby "CS" racing logo embroidered patch sewn on the right chest, as well as an exact replica vintage Ford Racing Eagle authentically sewn to the left sleeve. These patches are embroidered on original machinery with vintage materials, matching the originals in every way.
These jackets are custom manufactured from the ground up at our contract sewing shop in downtown Los Angeles, just blocks away from the original Bowler's shop on Pica Blvd. Our goal is to bring you the finest, wearable, museum-quality reproduction possible. You will not be disappointed.
