INTRODUCING: Officially Licensed by Carroll Shelby Licensing, an exact replica of the iconic Carroll Shelby navy blue, button-down collar team shirt, as worn by the Shelby American team throughout the 1966 racing season, including their iconic wins at Daytona, Sebring, and Le Mans.
This isn't anything you've seen before: BOWLER'S SHIRT & UNIFORM by Luna Replicas (TM) is the continuation of the original uniform contractor for Shelby American and Ford throughout the 1960s and 70s. After years of research & development, having assisted the production of all Shelby & Ford team uniforms "FORD V. FERRARI" in 2019, we are now licensed by Carroll Shelby Licensing and Ford Motor Company to bring these exactingly reproduced team uniforms to the public.
Each shirt is sewn with custom dyed navy blue woven cotton/bamboo smooth fabric, allowing the same look but better breathability and durability than the originals.
These shirts feature the original "collegiate" button down collar, with comfort reinforced inner neck band. The length and style of the bottom of each shirt allows you to wear it tucked or untucked as you see fit.
Each heritage line team shirt comes with a vintage-style SHELBY AMERICAN racing patch sewn on the left shoulder.
These shirts are custom manufactured from the ground up at our contract sewing shop in downtown Los Angeles, just blocks away from the original Bowler's shop on Pica Blvd. Our goal is to bring you the finest, wearable, museum-quality reproduction possible. You will not be disappointed.
